The Porcelain Veneers Process
The placement of porcelain veneers typically takes two visits to our practice serving Brentwood and all of Tennessee. During the first appointment, our dentist will prepare the teeth to receive veneers by removing a thin layer of enamel. This will create space to accommodate the thickness of the veneer. Then, an impression of the prepared teeth will be made and sent to a laboratory for the fabrication of the veneers. You will be fitted with temporary veneers until your permanent veneers are ready. Once we receive your permanent veneers, you will return to our office so that they can be bonded in place. At this point, our dentist will make slight adjustments to the porcelain veneers if needed so that they fit perfectly and blend in with your smile.
